On 3rd September 2003, the Commission accepted a section 87B undertaking from Air NZ stating that Air NZ undertakes:
not to participate in the Corporate Agreement upon giving effect to an alliance with Qantas of the type described in authorisation applications A30220, A30221, A30222, A90862 and A90863, or any similar alliance with Qantas involving the coordination of fares and schedules on trans-Tasman routes; and
not to participate in the Conventions Program upon giving effect to an alliance with Qantas of the type described in authorisation applications A30220, A30221, A30222, A90862 and A90863, or any similar alliance with Qantas involving the coordination of fares and schedules on trans-Tasman routes.
