On 24 November 2004 the ACCC released a discussion paper aimed at raising some of the issues faced by the ACCC in the first 18 months of the leniency policy’s operation and seeking comments on how the policy may be better worded or implemented to ensure that it creates the right incentives for corporations and individuals to self-report cartel conduct.
This position paper outlines and explains the changes the ACCC is making to the leniency policy and how it is implemented as a result of the ACCC’s review.
