The ACCC has worked with procurement agencies to produce this resource on DVD to assist buyers to recognise and report suspicious behaviour when obtaining quotes or running a tender. This information package is aimed at the government sector. Procurement, particularly in government, is susceptible to cartel conduct because the transparency required particularly in government contracts provides cartel participants with the information to allocate markets, fix prices and police collusive agreements. A text version is available from the ACCC website for anyone who cannot access Macromedia Flash presentations.
