Airservices Australia price notification - December 2004

On 29 November 2004, Airservices Australia (Airservices) lodged a formal price notification under subsection 95Z(5) of the Trade Practices Act 1974.

The formal price notification relates to its terminal navigation services. Airservices have sought to increase the prices for these services during the period 2004-05 to 2008-09.

The ACCC decided not to object to the proposed price increases for these services on the 17 December 2004.

Airservices have also decided to decrease the price for its enroute navigation service, and maintain prices for aviation rescue and fire fighting services at current levels. Airservices intends to review the basis of charging for these services with its customers in 2005.
