Energy market regulation in the new regulatory environment

28th June 2005

Conference

Australian Energy & Utility Summit, Sydney

Summary

Efficient investment in infrastructure is vital, but it is equally important that prices in the NEM are established in such a way as to ensure that electricity consumers can contribute to the overall efficiency of the NEM. In short, consumers will only be able to contribute if they are able to receive and act on price signals.
