In November 2002 the Department of Transport and Regional Services announced a review of the Airports Act 1996, and called for submissions by 28 February 2003. The ACCC provided a submission to the review.
As the ACCC is responsible for several functions under the Airports Act—in particular, monitoring and reporting on quality of service and financial accounts for certain airports, it provided a submission to the review.
