Summary
There have been a number of recent developments in the energy sector that the Commission is concerned about namely, mergers within the electricity industry and some recent conflicting interpretations of Gas Code provisions. In particular, the Commission has decided to seek a Federal Court review of the Tribunal's latest ruling on the Moomba to Sydney Pipeline to clarify some key issues.
