ACCC update issue 15: consumers

This issue of ACCC update is targeted at consumers. It explains how the Trade Practices Act protects consumers and what the ACCC can do to help. It examines e-commerce from the consumer's point of view, with tips to avoid being ripped off. Other issues it covers include shonky real estate advertising, debt collection, a new ACCC campaign to protect 'at risk' consumers, food labelling, and warranties and refunds. Each copy comes with a wallet card setting out when retailers have to give refunds.
