VicRoads serves the community by managing the Victorian road network. Vicroads works to achieve improved access, safety and mobility for Victoria's road users. Vicroads takes licensing, registration, traffic enquiries. VICRoads also provides Vehicle Information Packages (VIP). If you buy a vehicle that has been stolen, has money owing on it, or has been written-off, you risk the vehicle being repossessed or unable to be registered. The Vehicle Information Package can help you avoid these risks by providing you with information as currently reported to VicRoads and recorded on the VicRoads Vehicle Register. You can check for cars, motorcycles, trucks and buses. For a small fee you will receive a package of information that you with a detailed record (exluding private information) about any Victorian registered vehicle, giving you peace of mind when purhcasing a vehcle.
