Credit Ombudsman Service Limited

Description

The Credit Ombudsman Service is a free and independant External Dispute Resolution scheme. It provides consumers with an alternative to legal proceedings for resolving disputes with Credit Ombudsman Service Limited (COSL) Members operating in the credit marketplace. The Credit Ombudsman was formally the Mortgage Industry Ombudsman scheme, operates for the non bank credit industry and is approved by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
