The Credit Ombudsman Service Limited (COSL) is the external dispute resolution (EDR) scheme for the financial services industry, approved by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
The Credit Ombudsman Service provides an accessible, free and independent dispute resolution service as an alternative to legal proceedings for resolving complaints with a Member. Members include credit unions and building societies, non-bank lenders, mortgage and finance brokers, financial planners and a wide range of other financial services and product providers.
