Export agreements

What is an export agreement?

Statutory exemption for certain prohibitions is available under the Trade Practices Act for export agreements, if specific notification requirements are met. In particular, provisions of agreements that relate exclusively to the export of goods or services outside Australia gain immunity from court action under the Act if full and accurate particulars of the agreement are notified to the ACCC within 14 days of being made.

For further information about export agreements please consult Export agreements and the Trade Practices Act.
