Description

The Office of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Affairs is responsible for providing policy and strategic advice to the Chief Minister and ACT Government. The Office provides strategic advice to the Chief Minister on issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in the ACT. The Office coordinates a whole-of-government approach to issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents and provides secretariat and administrative support to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Consultative Council and the United Ngunnawal Elders Council.
