The Mental Health Council of Australia is a peak, national non Government organisation established under the National Mental Health Strategy to represent and promote the interests of the mental health sector and advise on mental health in Australia. The objectives of MHCA include national policy development, facilitating strong relationships between consumers, carers and providers within the mental health sector and creating awareness of mental health issues within Australia, and promoting the mental health of all Australians.
