Australian Information Industry Association Limited (AIIA)
Description
AIIA is Australia’s peak ICT industry representative body and advocacy group. It is a not-for-profit organisation. For over 30 years it has been their mission to advocate, promote, represent and grow the ICT industry in Australia.
Members are organisations (not individuals) ranging from SMEs to listed Australian organisations, to multinational or even global corporations. AIIA currently represent over 400 member organisations totalling more than 40,000 employees and almost 20 billion dollars in annual Australian revenue. AIIA membership is open to all organisations involved with the ICT industry in Australia.
AIIA seeks:
- A future where a thriving, sustainable and influential information industry accelerates the digital economy to enhance Australia’s productivity and sustainability
- To grow the whole ICT industry
- To reduce barriers to ICT business growth
AIIA achieves this by:
- Representing members to government and to other industries
- Creating a favourable business environment
- Influencing government policy and decision making
- Shaping the image of the ICT industry to showcase its value and contribution to business, the community and to the economy
- Delivering effective programs and services to members - Connecting members with new business opportunities and critical information.
