The ATA is the national body representing the trucking industry. Membership of the ATA comprises state and sector based industry associations and major transport companies. The ATA undertakes research, consults and informs, and develops and advocates policy that aims to improve the safety, environmental record and viability of the industry. It also managers the TruckSafe industry accreditation program. The ATA can help direct specific consumer complaints to ATA Member Organisations.
