Australian Subscription Television & Radio Association Inc. (ASTRA)
Description
The ASTRA is the industry association representing subscription (multichannel) television and narrowcast television and radio. ASTRA's membership includes the major subscription television operators, as well as more than 20 stand-alone channels that provide programming to these platforms. Other members include narrowcast television and radio operators providing services and information radio, and communications companies. ASTRA has developed Codes of Practice for subscription broadcasting, subscription narrowcasting and open narrowcasting industries.
