The National Association of Community Legal Centres (NACLC) is the association of state community legal centre organisations in Australia. Its members are: Australian Capital Territory Association of Community Legal Centres (ACTACLC);Combined Community Legal Centres Group (New South Wales) (CCLCG); Northern Territory Association of Community Legal Centres (NTACLC); Queensland Association of Independent Legal Services (QAILS); South Australian Council of Community Legal Services (SACCLS);Tasmanian Association of Community Legal Centres (TACLC); Federation of Community Legal Centres (Victoria); Community Legal Centres Association (WA) Inc
These organisations represent around 200 community legal centres nationally.
Community legal centres (CLCs) are independent, non-profit community organisations that provide free legal services to the public. Community legal centres that provide referral, advice and assistance to more than 350,000 people each year. These services are provided free of charge.
