Utilities Commission of the Northern Territory (UCNT)
Description
The Commission is responsible for the regulation of prices for certain monopoly services in the electricity, water and sewerage industries, licensing of industry participants, and monitoring the performance of licensed operators. The Commission also investigates and helps resolve complaints relating to the conduct of licensees, provides consumers with information and advice and provides advice to the Regulatory Minister.
