Description
The Department can help you settle disputes without having to go to court. We have dispute resolution centres throughout Queensland where trained mediators bring disputing parties together to talk over their differences and reach a settlement. Mediation can be used in the following types of disputes: neighbourhood; family; separating couples; commercial; workplace and property. Our mediation services are generally provided free to the public, though facilitations and workplace mediations are provided on a fee-for-service basis. There are disputes throughout Queensland. The website provides contact details for each centre.
