MBA is a professional body representing the building and construction industry in Australia. MBA members must adhere to the National Code of Practice which sets standards for ethical conduct. The MBA also runs Building Information Centres around Australia, where consumers can learn about building products and services. The MBA also provides referral services to allow consumers to find a member builder in their area. State and Territory offices also have dispute resolution procedures where consumers have unresolved disputes with member builders.
