The Vehicle Securities Interests Register includes a record of vehicles which have money owing on them to credit providers. The Register only records financial interests on vehicles which are currently registered in Tasmania or have been registered in Tasmania. A person or organisation which has a financial interest in a vehicle may register that interest. This service is provided by the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources Tasmania - Transport division.
