Privacy NSW is the office of the NSW Privacy Commissioner. Its function is to protect the privacy of the citizens of NSW. The office came into existence in Febuary 1999, & took over the functions of the Privacy Advisory Committee. It receives, investigates and conciliates complaints. It also monitors internal reviews and answers enquiries.
