The Law Society of NSW provides a wide range of services to its members to assist them in their practice, to help them provide a better service for their clients and to uphold the integrity of the profession. Services include a locum service, a precedents database, a website, IT advice, products and publications, training programs for support staff, award information, an online recruitment service for employers and employees, Law Society Online Jobs and a variety of member privileges. The Law Society also provides information to the public including a referral to lawyers practicing in specific areas of law in the most convenient location. It refers callers to other agencies where appropriate but does not provide legal advice.
