The HCCC investigates and prosecutes complaints against health care providers in NSW. Complaints can be made about individual providers, doctors, nurses, naturopaths, counsellors, and dentists, or about services at places such as public/private hospitals, medical centres and nursing homes. The Commission has a number of options to deal with complaints. All complaints and investigations are handled in keeping with the principles of strict confidentiality.
