The Dental Board of South Australia is a statutory body responsible to parliment for the administration of the Dental Practices Act 2001 which provides for the registration of dental practitioners and dental students. The boards responsiblities include protecting the public from unqualified persons and regulating the practice of dentistry in the public interest. Deals with complaints relating to professional misconduct and infection control. Complaints usually need to be addressed in writing and the board is unable to provide compensation.
