In regulating airports the ACCC reports annually on airport accounts, quality of service, prices monitoring and price cap compliance for airports that have been leased by the government. The ACCC began regulating airports in 1997–98 at Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. Sydney was added in 1998–99.
