Coca-Cola Amatil is committed to complying with all measures introduced to ensure businesses will charge fair prices after GST. Specifically:
Coca-Cola Amatil will comply with the Trade Practices Act 1974 and in particular, Part VB of that Act which prohibits companies from engaging in price exploitation in relation to the new tax system;
Coca-Cola Amatil will comply with the price exploitation guidelines formulated by the ACCC which, among other things, require businesses to pass on to customers (be they other businesses or consumer) any net cost benefits realised as a result of the new tax system changes; and
Coca-Cola Amatil has implemented and will maintain an effective compliance program to ensure that our people understand the terms of this committment and the obligations it places upon them.
