The purpose of this Commitment is to record the commitment of Qantas to furthering the principles of the Trade Practices Act 1974 and the Guidelines with respect to The New Tax System (TNTS), and to provide greater certainty as to the basis on which the Commission (the ACCC) may review the actions of Qantas.

Qantas has completed it’s repricing associated with the New Tax System and has met the requirements of it’s Public Compliance Commitment agreement with the ACCC.
