Mexico is embarking on a pro competition agenda and Mr Sims was asked by his counterpart to speak on his Australian National Competition Policy experience which has been widely cited as a good example for Mexico to follow. Mr Sims was the only external speaker at The Mexico Forum and his speech was received by an audience of Mexican Government Ministers and other senior Government officials, senior staff from the OECD (including its Secretary General) and the World Bank.
