Summary

ACCC chairman Rod Sims discusses the role of infrastructure users and consumers in regulatory decision making. Mr Sims draws out some of the desired features of regulatory arrangements and applies them to matters under consideration. The speech covers the regulation of the NBN, wheat ports, and the Australian Energy Regulator’s role in regulating energy networks.
