Consultation on the SAU

The ACCC issued two consultation papers on the original SAU.

On 20 December 2011, the ACCC published the original SAU and released the first of these consultation papers. The consultation paper invited submissions, set out an overview of the legislative framework for the assessment of the SAU and the original SAU itself, and set out the process that the ACCC intended to follow for the assessment of the original SAU.

On 10 February 2012, the ACCC released a supplementary consultation paper. This consultation paper provided guidance on what the ACCC considered to be the key issues associated with the original SAU and sought to gain a more detailed understanding of stakeholders’ views.

Submissions to both consultation papers closed at 5.00pm, 30 March 2012.
