The ACCC is continually addressing areas of concern to small business, but there is more to be done, both by regulators and government, but also by businesses themselves. As a regulator, we are making changes to the way we work to deliver more benefits. This involves seeking out and prosecuting rouge traders where they exist, testing legal definitions such as for unconscionable conduct, through to educating businesses about how they can make themselves more competitive.
