The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission proposes to grant authorisation to the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (REIWA) and its current and future members in relation to arrangements contained in its Membership Framework.
REIWA's application for authorisation updates a number of previously authorised arrangements including its Articles of Association and Codes of Conduct. REIWA is also seeking authorisation for arrangements not previously authorised, being REIWA’s website terms and conditions and a new proposed voluntary accreditation scheme for real estate and business agents.
The ACCC proposes to grant authorisation for ten years.
