The ACCC released an issues paper in November 2016 seeking feedback on key competition and fair trading issues in the industry. Submissions to the issues paper closed on 12 December 2016.
Confidentiality
Broadly speaking, the inquiry is a public process and written feedback will be posted on the ACCC website.
The ACCC can accept a claim of confidentiality from the party if the disclosure of information would damage their competitive position. Further information is contained in the issues paper.
